EJC 2009 – Post convention post

11:17 pm in EJC 2009, festivals, videos by ori.roth

The convention was over.
On the last night there was a mini improvised renegade outside, which was fun.
Our flight was a couple of days later so we used those days to travel in nearby important tourism attractions.

On the first day me and Asaf went to Bilbao, it was a great tour.
We were hiking all over the place starting from the Athletic Bilbao football team’s stadium (which was closed) up to the a-m-a-z-i-n-g Guggenheim art museum.  The city itself is very pretty as it has a magnificent combination of surrounding mountains and nature with modern buildings.
On our way to the museum we found a “subway sandwich” restaurant! the bad part was when we finished our lunch, went out and found out that it was raining…
No rain nor thunder will stop me from getting to that museum! After one minute of walking (without any umbrella!) we got there…
Surprisingly we met in there Bar and his family, among some other EJC jugglers.
The exhibitions were super.. all I need now is to persuade the management to let me film a juggling video in there… one day………..

iseverywhere

Asaf is everywhere!

On the next day Raffi, Buyoom and me went to Pamplona. Some of us were a bit afraid,
We got there and the first thing to notice was the colors – we were dressed black while all the rest were just red&white…. that’s how bad tourists we were….
Anyhow, quickly we found out that it was the last day of all the bulls thing so they weren’t running incorrigibly in the narrow streets and killing people.

Bullance

There was a big show of matadors and bulls in the big arena, but we didn’t have any tickets and even if we did we would have lost our last train back to Vitoria…
We still enjoyed the whole atmosphere and this small colorful town (and bought souvenirs…).

Happy and unharmed we got back to our home town -Vitoria. Knowing the streets by heart (mostly Raffi) we got to our hostel, ordered Dominos pizza for the last time :-( and went to sleep……..

Early in the morning we had our flight to Madrid, again, in that little airplane or chopper, and from Madrid back to Israel.

Asta la vista malabarista! See you in Finland!

Ohh, I made a short concluding video….
Enjoy -
